No data collection
SecurePass generates passwords entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API. We never send, log, or store any password, passphrase, or entropy data.
No third-party sharing
Your password never leaves your device. The only external request made is to the Have I Been Pwned API (if you enable breach checking) — but only a partial hash of your password is sent, never the password itself.
No tracking
We do not use any tracking technologies. SecurePass does not use cookies, analytics scripts, fingerprinting, or any form of tracking. There are no persistent identifiers.
The only third-party service we use is Adsterra for displaying non-intrusive advertisements. Adsterra may use cookies for ad personalization, but we do not have access to that data and we do not use it to track you.
Local storage only
Your settings (such as length, character types, and passphrase mode) are saved locally in your browser's localStorage for convenience. You can clear them at any time.
Advertisements
SecurePass uses Adsterra to display advertisements. These ads help us keep the service free and sustainable. Adsterra may collect anonymous data for ad targeting, but we do not collect, store, or have access to any personal data from these ads.
